Finally I’m here, actually writing a blog to you all. I’ve been anticipating for a long time being able to start up a website and create a blog to share with you guys. I’m now at a point in my life where I feel ready to take on this, as well as my business, and pursue it to a whole new level. So if you’re reading this now, it means that you have been there, and supported me up this this point. And for that, I thank you! It is the support that you have all given me that has lead me to be where I am today. I can only hope that you continue to support me from here on out, as I continue to do the thing I’m most passionate about, photography!

2013 was a very big year for me, both personally and with my business. 

As far as my photography goes, I feel that this last year was one of my biggest years for growth. I was able to do so many shoots that taught me a lot about capturing the best moments. In 2013, I had the honor of shooting multiple weddings for some beautiful brides. I shot so many wonderful families and got to meet so many wonderful people. I loved being a part of so many special moments, and fantastic memories. 

Personally, 2013 was easily one of the greatest and most significant years of my life.

Bought my first home

Went to Disneyland

Performed in a play

Went to Coachella

Graduated with my Bachelor's degree in HDFS from the University of Nevada, Reno

Traveled to Australia, as well as San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Napa Valley!

Got an adorable new cat, Gracie

but most importantly, I got married to my amazing and handsome husband, Kyle!

And while this last year has been wonderful, I fully expect 2014 to be just as great! I have started off this new year with a lot of new changes, with this website and blog being one of them!

Also new, I now have Talia Ybarra Photography on Instagram! Instagram is one of my favorite apps, and I think it’s a wonderful way of sharing, not just photos from sessions, but other fun behind the scenes stuff you may not see other wise. Another new thing you may have noticed is my new logo! My beautiful new logo was designed by the talented Sommer Elston with Pretty Little Paper Co. She’s a great friend of mine who not only helped me design my new look, but also designed my wedding save the dates and invitations! I highly recommend you check out her work if you are looking for someone to design you a personalized and one of kind look for your special occasion or business. 

A big change you will begin to see too, is that from this point on, I will be sharing photos from my sessions here on my blog, rather than on my Facebook page. I will continue to use my Facebook, if anything, more than before. But I feel that my blog will be a better place to share with you the pictures from a person's session or wedding!

I look forward to the future of my business, and am so excited for all the wonderful sessions and weddings planned already for this year!
