I'm happy to present my first annual Valentine's Day contest for all of you couples in love! 

This contest is great for all those smitten couples whether you're 

newly dating, recently engaged, or have been married for years. 

All couples have a chance to win a FREE outdoor couple session by me, perfect for showcasing your love

AND a $25 gift card from Sierra Belle, Midtown's trendiest style boutique

Winning is Easy!

To enter, just follow all of the following steps:

Step One: At least one person from each couple

must "like" both Talia Ybarra Photography and Sierra Belle on Facebook!

Step Two: On the contest announcement status/photo,

post a photo of the two of you and tell me both your names and in 1-3 sentences how the two of you met.

Doing this gives you one submission into the contest drawing!

Step Three: Share this contest with your family and friends

and encourage them to like both pages, but most importantly your photo!

For every "like" your photo gets, you get one additionial submission into the drawing

And that's it!

On Valentine's day, I will randomly draw one name

Terms and conditions

-Contest begins February 1, 2016 and ends February 13, 2016 at 11:59 pm pacific time 

-Couple will be randomly drawn on February 14, 2016 and winner will be announced on Facebook by 2 p.m pacific time

- Posting your photo will count as 1 submission. Each like on your photo will count as an additional submission into the drawing. For example, if you post a photo and it receives 9 likes, your name will be submitted 10 times into the drawing.

- Winner is picked through a random drawing, it is not picked by who has the most likes on their picture. However, the more likes the photo has, the higher the chance of winning is.

-Winning couple will win a session done by Talia Ybarra Photography.

Session will include a 2 hour session time, all the best images edited onto flash drive,

online viewing gallery, & a print release form ($400 value)

- Winning couple must have session by December 31, 2016

- You must be a couple in a relationship to enter

- The contest is good for the couple's session only and can not me exchanged for a different service 

- Prize also includes a $25 gift card from Sierra Belle, ideally used to buy something to wear for your session

I was so very excited to shoot Kristin and Eric's wedding! I couldn't wait to see for myself all the decorations and Pinterest worthy idea's Kristin had planned for their big day, and I definitely wasn't disappointed! Every last detail was perfectly stunning!

I have known Taylor for a few years know, having met through mutual friends. When she asked me to shoot her wedding, I was absolutely thrilled! I always knew that she was a sweet girl, but during the process of her wedding, I got to see what a kind hearted and wonderful person she is! 

Taylor and Matt's wedding came and it was simply beautiful. Their wedding was full of simple but lovely details. My particular favorite thing was Taylor's use of the fact that she is a twin who was about to marry a man whose last name is Triplett. It couldn't get more perfect then that! I loved the energetic and upbeat vibe that their guests gave, and the night ended with a perfect and fun sparkler send off! These two are such as wonderful couple, and I know they have a great future ahead of them.

You'll never find a more genuine and sweet pair. I knew the moment I met them that I was going to love every minute of their wedding.

Jordan's grandmother made all these flowers by hand! I'm obsessed!

A few months back, I was able to shoot some pictures for my wonderful cousin and his adorable girlfriend to celebrate six years together! I don't think I could have had any more fun shooting these two. Taylor's infectious smile made the whole session such a joy. I adore these two and can't wait to see where their future takes them.

Taylor and Matt are such a sweet couple. Their engagement session was non-stop smiles and joy. I have loved photographing every moment between these two and I'm so excited for their future together.

On their 10 year anniversary, Kylie and Ski were finally married!

You don't have to spend too much time with Kylie and Ski to tell how in love they are. After a decade together, these two got the beautiful wedding they deserved. They were married at Squaw Valley on a perfect spring day surrounded by their friends, family, and their two adorable sons. I wish them nothing but a lifetime full of happiness.

I couldn't be happier for Emily! I've had the pleasure of knowing this sweet girl now for a few years, with us going back to being on the same cheer squad in high school! In college, I got to work along side her as a coach. Now she has finished her degree at UNR and is pursuing a career down in San Diego! I'm so proud of her, and was honored to be able to take some senior pictures for her!

I have known these two beautiful girls since they were little girls. Though I'm older, we did go to school together ever since elementary school. One thing I can clearly remember was how close of friends these two were, and how they kept that friendship throughout the years. So when they approached me about getting their senior pictures done together, I happily said yes! 

I loved being able to have both of the them together for their shoot. It was so wonderful being able to not just photograph their accomplishments in school, but to also capture the amazing friendship that they share. 

Congratulations on your graduation from UNR! Together, you both have bright futures!

I can't even begin to tell you how much I adore this sweet family! We had so much fun planning and going out to Galena to shoot some family pictures before the arrival of their little boy! 

They were all naturals in front of the camera, and I cannot wait till I can shoot them again, but with one more addition! 

I have known Morgan for a few years now, him being one of my sister's closest friends. And now, he's officially graduating from UNR with a bachelor's degree in neuroscience! A few weeks back, Morgan and I, as well as my sister and his wonderful mother and girlfriend, took a stroll around the campus to get a few shots to celebrate him graduating. Morgan was such a natural in front of the camera, and I loved being able to have his loved ones join in on a few to make his session even more special!  

Congratulations Morgan! You have a bright future ahead of you!

A few weeks back, I was able to take some photos out in Verdi of this sweet couple who are expecting their first baby! I loved shooting these two, and I just know they'll be wonderful parents to their little boy! Congratulations you two, you have a lifetime of happiness ahead of you! 

This session meant a lot to me, being that this pretty lady here is my sister-in-law! I just loved shooting her and her hubby to be in beautiful Galena, where I really don't think we could have had a better day to shoot. I'm so happy for these two, and am honored to have been able to take some engagement pictures for them!

Krisin and Eric are simply adorable! And on this chilly day in February, we were able to go up and spend the day in Tahoe to shoot their engagement pictures! We started out the day by going to Izzy's Burger Spa, which just happens to be where these two went for their first date! From there we followed up the session by going to the nearby beach!

I had so much fun shooting these two, and cannot wait to shoot their wedding this August!

It makes sense that these two would be the first session that I blog. I have known Sommer for many years now, Sommer being the one to give me my first job at a smoothie shop. Over the years though, I have had the honor of being the one to photograph her during her milestones, which have included her and Jim's engagement, their gorgeous wedding, them one year later, their baby announcement, and now their maternity session!

Of all the shoots I've done with them, this one was probably my favorite. The lighting, her dress, their love. It was all perfect. 

I am so so so incredibly happy for these two, and will be waiting on the edge of my seat for Little Peanut Parker to arrive!

Finally I’m here, actually writing a blog to you all. I’ve been anticipating for a long time being able to start up a website and create a blog to share with you guys. I’m now at a point in my life where I feel ready to take on this, as well as my business, and pursue it to a whole new level. So if you’re reading this now, it means that you have been there, and supported me up this this point. And for that, I thank you! It is the support that you have all given me that has lead me to be where I am today. I can only hope that you continue to support me from here on out, as I continue to do the thing I’m most passionate about, photography!

2013 was a very big year for me, both personally and with my business. 

As far as my photography goes, I feel that this last year was one of my biggest years for growth. I was able to do so many shoots that taught me a lot about capturing the best moments. In 2013, I had the honor of shooting multiple weddings for some beautiful brides. I shot so many wonderful families and got to meet so many wonderful people. I loved being a part of so many special moments, and fantastic memories. 

Personally, 2013 was easily one of the greatest and most significant years of my life.

Bought my first home

Went to Disneyland

Performed in a play

Went to Coachella

Graduated with my Bachelor's degree in HDFS from the University of Nevada, Reno

Traveled to Australia, as well as San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Napa Valley!

Got an adorable new cat, Gracie

but most importantly, I got married to my amazing and handsome husband, Kyle!

And while this last year has been wonderful, I fully expect 2014 to be just as great! I have started off this new year with a lot of new changes, with this website and blog being one of them!

Also new, I now have Talia Ybarra Photography on Instagram! Instagram is one of my favorite apps, and I think it’s a wonderful way of sharing, not just photos from sessions, but other fun behind the scenes stuff you may not see other wise. So if you have one, please go and follow me @TaliaYbarraPhotography!

Another new thing you may have noticed is my new logo! My beautiful new logo was designed by the talented Sommer Elston with Pretty Little Paper Co. She’s a great friend of mine who not only helped me design my new look, but also designed my wedding save the dates and invitations! I highly recommend you check out her work if you are looking for someone to design you a personalized and one of kind look for your special occasion or business. 

A big change you will begin to see too, is that from this point on, I will be sharing photos from my sessions here on my blog, rather than on my Facebook page. I will continue to use my Facebook, if anything, more than before. But I feel that my blog will be a better place to share with you the pictures from a person's session or wedding!
